The GWC TEAM currently consists of four women who not only collaborate on the magazine but also realise exhibitions and other projects together. We not only do empowering work for Black women in German-speaking countries and for the community, but also for ourselves. All four of us would have needed something like GWC back then when we were little girls.

Linda Nübling

Is a communication designer, the founder of GWC and lives in Munich. She is in charge of all matters concerning GURLZ WITH CURLZ. Her biggest focus though lies on the GWC concept and the design of the magazine and exhibitions. All in cooperation with the best team, of course. But it is particularly important to her to always have an open ear for the concerns of her team and to create a Safer Space for us Black women, where we can share and talk about everything.

kugland

Was born and raised in Berlin and still lives there today. She has been working with Linda on all GWC projects since August 2020. Her focus lies on editorial work and PR/marketing. She is Linda’s close collaborator and Linda and her exchange ideas on most topics. Together they build the GWC force.

Gibson

Was born and raised in Munich where she still resides today. She supports GWC mainly with organisational tasks, social media and any other topic that comes up. She’s an absolute all-rounder, so to speak.

Originally from the Rhein-Main area, she is currently living in Cologne. She is responsible for editing and supports every production or everything else that needs to be done
